Compact / Unitised Substation
Unitised substations are designed for locations where space and safety are a concern, population density is high, such as urban centre. The unitised substation is divided into three sections or compartments: Medium Voltage, Transformer, and Low Voltage Switchboard. Unitised substations are designed in accordance with IS 14786 / IEC 61330 standards with a degree of protection for IP23 for the Transformer and IP54 for MV & LV compartments or as per customer requirement.
