Late SHRI SUDHAKAR TELAWNE, after 17 years of experience in Crompton Greaves Limited, established its first unit in the year 1987 in Navimumbai, India, in the name of TELAWNE CROMPTEK. Its business journey began in 1988, manufacturing and repairing of oil-cooled CTPTs and Distribution Transformers.
In 1998, the company began the manufacturing and repair of Power and Distribution Transformers up to 10MVA, 33KV. From 1999-2000 to 2003-2004, the company geared itself with adequate technical knowledge and carried out Type Tests on 5MVA, 33KV Power Transformer at CPRI, Bangalore, and Type tested 630KVA, 11KV Dry Type Transformer at ERDA, Baroda.
In 2003-04, TELAWNE POWER EQUIPMENTS PVT LTD facility was installed to manufacture Oil Immersed Power and Distribution Transformers up to 50MVA, 132kV Class, Resin Impregnated Dry type Transformers up to 5 MVA, 22KV Class, Cast Resin Dry type Transformers up to 5 MVA, 33KV Class, Unitised & Pad Mounted Substations up to 2MVA, 33KV Class. The total installed capacity is 1000 MVA per annum on a 3-shift basis in assorted ratings. Apart from Manufacturing and repairing, TELAWNE delivers after-sales services to its customers worldwide.
